Nikon recently named Mike Colón a "Legend behind the lens" and included his work and biography in their permanent Legends archive online. Mike is one of just three wedding photographers in the world to recieve such recognition from Nikon.

Mike has traveled the world photographing weddings for the rich and famous. He also travels regularly teaching and sharing his passion with others.

Tuition includes:
2 days of hands-on training with Mike Colon, modeling fees and meals.
Who should attend:
Photographers looking to kick it up a notch.
Attendees should have working knowledge of both digital photography and Adobe Photoshop.
Items needed:
Digital SLR, Lenses, memory cards.

Additional items not required but encouraged: Laptop, Adobe Photoshop, Aperture, camera bag or backpack.
Hotel info:
We recommend booking your rooms ASAP at The Hotel at Old Town. We've arranged for a Group Rate of $116 a night (you must book by 04/20/08) including a full breakfast buffet and free internet. Click here to reserve your room. The hotel is located in the historic Old Town area of Wichita, KS about 7 minutes from the airport. Make sure to book your rooms early as the workshop takes place during the Wichita River Festival.
Travel info:
Wichita Mid-Continent Airport is the closest airport for the workshop and located only a few miles from the hotel. Contact us if you need transportation from the airport to the hotel. Be sure to check Travelocity.com, Expedia.com or CheapTickets.com to find the best rates.
Terms for workshops:
The full fee for these events will be automatically billed to your
credit card upon completion of your registration. Note that there is
a non-refundable retainer of $500.00 for reserving your seat.
The remaining portion of the fee will be refundable up to 30 days before the start of the event. In addition to the reservation fee, there is a $95 processing fee for all cancellations. Please double check your schedule for any conflicts with this event before moving forward with these transactions.

All attendees are required to submit an edited disk of images for the models within 30 days of the end of the workshop.
